Leaving
tsk..tsk..
Mami will be leaving me.......
I will be alone..........all alone.......
In the office.
LOL!! :)
She has just got an offer from a multinational company she's eyeing for quite some time. A good friend pulled some strings, and last month an interview was arranged. The soon-to-be her boss was impressed with her experience, which fits nicely into the new job.
And today, they offered her the job. :) Congrats Mami.
We have been working together for almost 4 years, in different departments. There are pros and cons for a husband and wife to be working in the same company. The good side, you get to see each other all the time, and you can help each other out. The bad side, you will get involved in the other's work, whether you want it or not. And if the company is financially not stable, both will be affected. I am sure you have heard of the guy who put all his eggs in one basket.
Do you know the one thing she'll miss most if she left?
No...not me lar. LOL! The roti canai in the Level 2 food court!! HAHAHAH!!
Of course, starting again in a new place can be quite daunting. You'll worry whether your performance is up to expectation. You'll worry about how your new office mate will receive you. You'll worry about this and that. But Mami, I think you are going to be just fine. :)
All the best, Mami!
